Not too sure if this belongs in the script ideas section or not... but anyways here we go. I think the champ spawns should have a different lockout strategy, meaning this, upon entry and the start of a spawn the leader gets the option to allow or refuse entry to others. this way while someone is either soloing a champ or whatever they will not be randomly interrupted but people that haven't contributed to the spawn at all. This issue has effected the server in the worst possible way recently, people don't want to sit in a champion spawn for hours just so someone can come along and basically rob the gold they receive from the champ, or most importantly the skull. Just an idea I figured i would drop in the pub and see what others feel about this situation, and hopefully get a fix planned for this. lol, hey Yasha, that idea really sounds formilular for some reason.... lol, i definatly second this idea, maybe a "may i join u" request can be used. or maybe we need to have it set so that u have to challange teh champ idol to start the champ, and only the one that challanges the idol can get the skull unless they leave the champ.. than, maybe tie it into the skull timmers, so that the skull is released to the one who kills the boss if they start the champ than leave long enough for any skulls to reset. as for the steeling of the gold and tokens, not sure what to suggest for that, its common curtisy to not steel from others, and commonsence not to jump others champs. but we do have alot of those out there trying to play in game games

;D it's a basic idea to just fix the issue, i mean wouldn't you rather be able to allow people to come in, rather then worring about a skill requirement? if it was set up to whomever starts it can allow people in upon request I would think it would make champing more fun. I personally have soloed champs for hours before, and to be honest it grows very boring. I think back to when I first started UO and we would go in groups to fight champs, it was fun that way. The barracoon spawn was my favorite (vermin horde) especially when he turned my partners into ratmen, we would clown on them for that but it was all in fun. Maybe if they set and event for new players to go do a champ it would be fun for them I dunno, but the skulls seem to be a high commodity. But in the long run what is better? Having fun doing things with friends? Or getting the better of the loot? It's a no brainer IMO I'd rather do things in groups other then alone... but thats just me

not just u, most are that way unless u get some that dont care about others and perpously lag everyone else out, or try to menipulate it so they get everything, mi at the point where theri isnt a champ i cant solo, some just take forever damn resists they have but i still hole hartedly believe that the person that startes the champ should get the skull, IF more than one person is there for the first stage fo the champ, than the gold should be split as those players c fit, butif they come in on second through fourth, it should be up to the person that started the champ to split what they feel fair, for some thats all the gold to the others, for some thats nothing to anyone else or anywhere in between... butthey started it, they worked the longest part, they should have controll of the champ rewards
